Dr. Emmanuel Intsiful
Emmanuel has ten years of experience teaching in higher education in different countries. In 2019 he was selected as part of the young scholars’ conference during the 42nd Comparative International Education Society Conference in San Francisco, USA. Emmanuel works across various linguistic and geographic contexts at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences on a wide range of educational issues. Specifically, Emmanuel’s research interests are critical sociology of higher education, higher education policy, critical pedagogy, Foucauldian studies, post-colonialism, poststructuralism, educational leadership, management, and governance. Emmanuel teaches Advanced Research Methods, Educational Planning, Comparative and International Education, Reflective Practice in Education and Business Research Methods. He also supervises MA, MEd, MPhil, and doctoral students. Emmanuel is a senior lecturer at the Department of Educational Studies and a coordinator for postgraduate programmes.
