Professor Stella Yemisi Erinosho is a highly accomplished scholar and educator with an impressive academic career spanning nearly four decades. She has held the position of full professor for 23 years, demonstrating her exceptional expertise and contributions to the field of education. She obtained her Bachelor of Education in Physics from the esteemed University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and further earned a Master's and Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation from the same institution.
Her research interests encompass a diverse range of areas, including gender and science education, educational assessment and evaluation, curriculum development, and research methodologies. Professor Erinosho has served as an Adjunct Professor of Education and Research at the University of Education, Winneba, and the University of Cape Coast, before joining the Methodist University of Ghana, where she currently holds an adjunct faculty position.
As a prolific researcher, Professor Erinosho has secured 10 prestigious grant awards, authored over 60 articles, which have been published in highly regarded journals, books, and conference proceedings, contributing invaluable insights to the fields of gender studies, science education, and school assessments.
Renowned for her dedication to nurturing and mentoring emerging scholars, Professor Erinosho is widely admired as an exceptional "teacher of teachers." She has successfully supervised thesis/dissertation of numerous students at various educational levels, many of whom now hold prestigious positions in their respective fields. Her expertise has been sought after by many universities, including institutions in Ghana, where she has served as a professorial assessor and external examiner. Her unwavering commitment to fostering the growth and development of the next generation of academics is evident in her passionate approach to mentorship and guidance. Her extensive experience, research acumen, and steadfast dedication to education make her an inspiring role model for aspiring scholars and educators.
