Mohammed had been appointed as a lecturer at the Department since February 2019. He had his terminal degree in Administrative Science from the University of Tampere, Finland in 2012. Prior to that he had been awarded the Second Degree in Development and International/Education Cooperation from the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. The University of Cape Coast had awarded him with a bachelor’s in science education degree in 1998.With his bachelor’sdegree, he worked briefly first as a science teacher at the Secondary School level before joining the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of Ghana as a Management Analyst until 2005 when he left for further studies. In 2012, Dr Mukhtar had returned to continue from where he left off as Senior Management Analyst. In the same year he transited to the University of Professional Studies Accra as a lecturer. He has since 2019 settled with Methodist University Ghana, Department of Management Studies, teaching courses in Management/Administrative, Governance, Public Policy, and Research at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
