REGISTRAR’S WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Students, Faculty, Staff and Visitors,

I welcome you, on behalf of the Office of the Registrar and Management, to the website of Methodist University Ghana.

The Office of the Registrar is the administrative arm of the University. It provides a variety of administrative and professional support services to stakeholders of the University and the University community at large. The Office is headed by the Registrar who is the Chief Administrative/Operating Officer and is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day to day administration of the University.

The Office is divided into four main divisions: Academic and Students Affairs, Human Resources, Public Affairs and Estate Development and Municipal Services. The Registrar is supported by Deputy, Senior Assistant who head these divisions and Assistant Registrars to offer a wide range of services to prospective students, students, graduates, alumni, staff and the general public. These services include admissions, registration, enrollment, course registration, time tabling and class scheduling, examinations, student records, award and verification of degrees, transcript requests, alumni affairs, management of human resources, logistics management, public relations and organization of university functions at university, faculty and departmental levels.

The Office works closely with faculty, staff, students and the general public in providing these services and is committed to the continuous development and improvement of the services on offer. The ultimate goal of the Office is to provide timely and quality services to current, former and future students, faculty, staff and the general public. My dedicated team is always ready on hand to provide quality support service to every client. Our ultimate goal is to live up to the University’s motto of Excellence Morality Service.

Our website is easy-to-navigate and provides a wealth of information and resources on the University. It also serves as a central hub for academic records and registration for students. I invite you to browse through it and discover everything MUG has on offer.

The Office of the Registrar is located on the first floor of the main Administration Block at the Dansoman Campus. The Office is open between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Our committed staff are always on hand to assist you with whatever services you desire from the University.
