The 2023 National Youth Conference: Breaking Barriers and Creating a Stronger Youth Development Ecosystem

In furtherance of the university’s drive to equip students with Relevant, Innovative, Creative and Holistic Education, 5 students participated in the 2023 National Youth Conference, which was held from August 31 – September 2, 2023 at the University of Ghana.

The Conference brought together about 2,000 young people from across the country and other stakeholders including Ministries, Agencies and Departments, Diplomatic Corps, NGOs, CSOs, Young Entrepreneurs and Young Parliamentarians, Students, Academia and Youth Groups. The conference was under the theme “Breaking Barriers: Creating a stronger youth development ecosystem”.

The 3-day conference was graced by His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana.
