THE INSTITUTION
The Methodist University Ghana (MUG) is a Christian, private tertiary institution established by The Methodist Church Ghana. The University has campuses in Accra, (Dansoman), Tema and Wenchi. Our motto is “Excellence Morality Service”.
THE ROLE
- Prepare financial reports for presentation to council
- Prepare Budgets
- Do bank reconciliation, fees reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Prepare Payment Voucher
- Do cash analysis
- Student accounts reconciliation
- Debtors aging analysis
- Budgetory Control Analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Should be part qualified with first degree in relevant field.(ICAG, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in Reconciliation, reporting (external & Internal), general ledger accounting, treasury management
- Be able to work under pressure
- At least 4 years working experience in an institution of higher learning or any corporate environment
- should be an expert in Excel and other computer applications
- Knowledge of any accounting software is a plus
- Should not be above 45 years.
